HB 34: Create Criminal Penalties for Mail Theft

This bill would create a misdemeanor charge for a first offense of mail theft and increasing felony charges for subsequent offenses. This would increase penalties for a crime, which contributes to the disenfranchisement of marginalized North Carolinians.
