In addition to phone banking, text banking, and in-person canvassing, we also encourage you to consider participating in letter writing. We have partnered with Vote Forward to mobilize volunteers to get out the vote by writing letters to voters throughout North Carolina. Writing personalized, handwritten letters to voters is a great and effective way to help increase voter turnout, making more of our voices heard and strengthening our democracy.
In order to participate in letter writing with the ACLU, you have to register online to create your Vote Forward profile. Once you are registered, make sure to select the North Carolina campaign so you can send letters to voters in our state!
