Molly Rivera joined the ACLU of North Carolina in June 2016 as the organization’s Communications Associate. With a background in digital media, Molly works to expand the organization’s public education campaigns on a range of issues, with a particular focus on reproductive freedom. Prior to joining the ACLU of North Carolina, Molly worked as the Digital Media Specialist for the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina where she managed the Food Bank’s blog, website, and social media accounts. She has a degree in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin and enjoys sharing her extensive knowledge and love of cheese with anyone who will listen. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Triangle Chapter of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network and volunteers as a Children’s Group Facilitator at InterAct of Wake County.
