This Giving Tuesday, we're honoring some of the organizations working toward a better North Carolina. By donating to grassroots organizations, you can create monumental change for our most vulnerable communities. Consider donating today.
Carolina Migrant Network
CMN bridges the gap between legal services and advocacy efforts. Their goal is to mobilize the resources and talent that exists in the Carolinas to combat Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations in our state. CMN was founded to combat the systemic targeting of undocumented immigrants in the state of North Carolina, which ranks last in the country for access to legal representation for immigrants facing detention and removal, despite its significant and growing immigrant population. CMN utilizes a dual-pronged approach, providing access to free legal representation and implementing organizing tactics to limit the number of people being arrested and placed into deportation proceedings. Rainbow Collective for Change
RCC is a collective of diverse community members working together to build LGBTQ+ and gender inclusive spaces. They provide LGBTQ+ families with meaningful opportunities to connect with each other and engage in advocacy and activism as a collective. RCC also provides tools and training for schools, families, and organizations to be LGBTQ+ and gender inclusive. Check out their website here.
Pro-Choice NC
Pro-Choice North Carolina is a statewide organization that works exclusively to protect and advance the reproductive rights of all North Carolinians. They advocate for rights to and support of whatever reproductive healthcare decisions people make for themselves, including preventing pregnancy, accessing abortion, and carrying a pregnancy safely to term. They advocate with the strong majority of North Carolinians who believe people should be able to access abortion safely and with dignity, and without government interference.
